Healthy Meals
The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted lives and up-ended our daily routines, but thousands of San Diego families continue to receive nutritious, healthy meals from their neighborhood public school. The prepared meals are served by many of the same people who provide San Diego Unified students with garden-fresh and farm-fresh food options during the regular school year.

Computers

Computers are essential classroom tools at San Diego Unified schools, where there is a device available for every student. More than 50,000 Chromebook computers were safely cleaned and distributed in April to students without a reliable device at home. Seniors and students not returning to the district will return devices. All other students will keep their devices over the summer.
Know a student who still needs a computer?
For students needing a device for the 2020-21 school year, your school of enrollment will be able to distribute devices once they have returned from Summer break and will provide instructions so you may plan for a pick up. More information will be provided to families in August.
Need help using your new district-issued Chromebook?
For technical support, call the Distance Learning Support Line at (619) 732-1400. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Note that many issues with Chromebooks can be resolved by restarting the device. For more simple steps that will resolve the majority of issues not related to damage, please visit our Technology Support for Families page.
